Moving Day

So this week was moving week for the Martinez family.  Over the past couple of weeks Michelle, Felipe, Keah and Sheryl have been packing up the apartment to move to their new apartment.
The day before the big move Felipe moved the mattress and box spring and some of the kitchen boxes so they could have some stuff over at the new place.  The next day after Michelle had went to work for her morning shift, Felipe started moving stuff over.  Mom showed up to help around 8:30ish and Keah showed up at 9:30.

Before everyone showed up Felipe had moved the coffee table and the loveseat by himself.  Once Keah and Sheryl we made a system to bringing up the rest of the boxes and clothes.  Mom would get the stuff in the apartment and put it near the door, then Keah would bring the stuff to the bottom of the stair of the new apartment across the parking lot, then Felipe would take it up into the apartment.  Once we got a few things into the apartment and after a break Felipe and Keah attempted to take the three seat couch up.  Keah was able to help Felipe at least get it out of the door and then up the stairs, but carrying across the parking lot was a no go.  Felipe carried by himself to the stairs of the new building. Mr. Muscle Man.

While this was going on Michelle and one of her co-workers Kim Lynn went to get some food for lunch and a dolly to move some the big heavy stuff from the apartment.  When they got back Felipt e bpe brought some more of the heavy things upstairs.  One of the heavy items was the TV this TV is extremly heavy and when he got to the bottom of the stairs he yelled up "KEAH", he needed some help pulling the dolly up the stairs with the television.  After we got it upstaris he stated that this is one of the heaviest TV's that he has ever lifted. He told us from the beginning that he stopping at 11:30 to start cooking the burgers and the chicken, while Mom cut up veggies for us to munch on as well.  Right when we were about to eat Felipe and Michelle's friend Amanda Schindler showed up to help.

After lunch we did some unpacking and then Felipe had to go to work along with Kim and thier friend Megan who came over to eat.  After they all went to work Mom left because she had been there all day and wanted to relax and stuff.  Michelle, Amanda and Keah got to work unpacking the boxes and started organizing the apartment some.  Dad came after he got off from work to clean the kitchen his way. :)
